What can a PS3 theme change, and are animated themes supported?

A .p3t package can contain several XMB presentation elements, such as backgrounds, icons, fonts, colors, author avatars, and other theme resources. A package can therefore contain more internal graphics than the single image shown on its Themezer page. Sony’s theme walkthrough provides additional background on the package format and its visual resources.

If a package includes animated or timed effects, Themezer does not render those effects in the website preview. Every PS3 theme page uses one supplied static screenshot, and Themezer does not promise that an animated package will behave identically on every console.
