Someone requested I make a theme that had the default square game icons instead of the vertical icons that was originally with the theme! The original theme with vertical themes was by Capybara (u/darkerthansvart) on Reddit & theme concept was by 14 (u/Quat0rz) on Reddit! Only changes with this theme is square game icons instead of vertical for the homemenu, all apps menu & the lockscreen! I had an hour and a half on a Saturday and I decided I wanted to make a dark theme because I play most of my games around midnight, and considering Final Fantasy VII is the most impactful game (franchise? I dunno) that I’ve experienced, I wanted to make a theme like that. Plus, the market for simple dark blue FFVII themes on Nintendo Switch seemed (surprisingly) minimal. Based on the “Nightfall” abstract dark theme by Sahnec, but with a slightly adjusted background to better fit the lock screen, same colors everywhere for consistency and slightly modified layouts to fit the Art Deco style of the background.

made this because i wanted a re:zero theme with a purple-blue vibe, especially with s4. edited the backgrounds a ton to make it feel dreamy with petals, blur, color changes, and some layered effects. the ui is centered around purple and tries to show off the backgrounds. meant to be used in dark mode, but might still work in light mode. art is credited in each theme. first theme/pack 🫠
