Can I install a theme using the PS3 browser or FTP?

Sony documents automatic theme installation after downloading a .p3t file with the PS3 browser. The current Themezer website is designed for modern browsers, so compatibility with the older PS3 browser is not promised. Use the USB method when the website does not load or the download does not install automatically.

FTP may be available on some modded consoles, but the required server, permissions, and destination depend on the console’s firmware and custom-firmware setup. Use maintained, console-specific guidance for that workflow. Themezer does not provide an FTP endpoint, hardcoded destination path, QR installer, or other remote-install feature.
