How do I install a PS3 theme from a USB drive?

A .p3t file is the packaged PlayStation 3 theme file that the console can install. The most dependable method is to use USB storage:

1. Download the theme’s .p3t file to your computer.
2. At the root of the USB drive, create the folders PS3/THEME/.
3. Copy the .p3t file into the PS3/THEME/ folder, then safely eject the drive.
4. Connect the drive to your PS3.
5. On the XMB, open Settings → Theme Settings → Theme → Install.
6. Select the USB storage device, choose the theme, and follow the on-screen prompts.
